Bottle Stopper – Black Palm

An elegant and versatile handmade bar accessory is the Bottle Stopper – Black Palm. I hand turn every bottle stopper on a lathe to highlight the grain and natural color of the wood.  Then I apply 16 coats of Cyanoacrylate glue (CA or super glue) to the wood. Then the CA is hand polished to 12,000 grit and finally buff to achieve a tough, high gloss finish.

I use SS Niles stainless steel or brass stoppers with 4 soft o-rings. They fit almost any bottle with 2 o-rings making contact to form a tight seal. These stoppers fit all screw top, wine, olive oil, vinegar, liqueur and spirits bottles.
